Obituary of Lehman White

Lehman WhiteLehman “Chalkie” White of Eugene died March 1 at age 92. The family chose not to list the cause of death. No service is planned.He was born May 22, 1919, in Carothersville, Mo., to Alcine and Olive Ellington White.He held a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Nebraska. During his 24 year Air Force career, he flew nuclear-armed 36’s and served a 13-month stint in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force in 1966 at the rank of colonel. He started the Franklin Boulevard Rent-All and later River Avenue Rent-All.Survivors include his wife, a son and a daughter.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
