Born in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario Art was the eldest son of Jeanette Tytor. When work brought Art to the GTA, he met the love of his life Sandy and a new life began with her son Jonathan. Together they welcomed Melanie (Alex) and quickly his family became the centre of his universe. Art was a devoted and loving family man. He had a heart of gold; to know him was to love him. Art was a sociable man who was involved with numerous car clubs, including the Corvette Club of Ontario. He was an avid car lover who enjoyed the project. His passion in life was to take run down, rusted out cars and transform them into show cars. Art was an animal lover, and was often found sneaking treats to his two beloved dogs, Bosco and Kane, and his beloved cat Tucker. Family was extremely important to Art, and upon her arrival his granddaughter Cali quickly became his pride and joy. Arts story was a difficult and short, but full one. He will be forever missed by his brother Terry (Rhonda), and his sister Suzanne Beauchamp (Paul) and was predeceased by his brother Robert “Bobby”. Art leaves fond memories in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Arthritis Society of Ontario. In spite of his many disabilities, Art had an unbreakable spirit and managed to live a full life. His family would like to thank the many individuals who helped him to accomplish this.
