Obituary of Mary Ritchey

Mary RitcheyA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 16 at the First United Methodist Church in Eugene for Mary LaDon Ritchey of Eugene, who died Feb. 28 of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. She was 76.She was born July 28, 1935, in Minden, Neb., to Don and Mary Dusenberry Wells. She married Norval Ritchey on May 14, 1955, in Roseburg.She graduated from Roseburg High School. She worked for the state of Oregon before becoming a full-time homemaker.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mike of Eugene and Doug of Bend; a daughter, Rayna Evert of Bend; a brother, Don Wells of Roseburg; and seven grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances may be sent to United Methodist Church or Willamette Valley Cancer Center.
