Richard HaywardRichard Hayward of Eugene died March 18 of age-related causes. He was 91. No service is planned.He was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Tacoma to Dallas B. and Hilda Webster Hayward. He married Nancy McCroskey in 1948 in Tacoma. She died in 1994.He graduated from high school in California and attended UCLA for two years, before serving in the military and then transferring to the University of Washington, where he graduated in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946. He was a partner in Clary Business Machines. He later worked at Lee World Travel, retiring in 1999.Survivors include his domestic partner of 15 years, Ruth Miller; four sons, Don and Bob, both of Seattle, and Tom and Web, both of Eugene, a daughter, Mary Jensen of Bend; and nine grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
