Obituary of Alice Dugan

Alice DuganA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at First United Methodist Church in Eugene for Alice J. Dugan of Eugene, who died March 15 of age-related causes. She was 87.She was born March 2, 1925, in Tekamah, Neb., to Lloyd and Alice Skyrme Peck. She married William ‘Bill’ Dugan in 1950. He died Sept. 9, 2011.She graduated from the University of Nebraska. She and her husband taught school in Oakridge and she was the choral director there. She moved to Eugene in 1956 and worked as a teacher at a middle school in Springfield.Survivors include three sons, Gregory of Indianapolis, Stuart of Lacey, Wash., and Bryce of Portland; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Lane County Audubon Society or Northwest Christian University.
