Wilma GuthrieFLORENCE — The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. Friday, March 23, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Wilma Marie Guthrie of Florence, formerly of Eugene, who died March 19 of age-related causes. She was 89.She was born May 29, 1922, in Eugene to Albert and Ellen Hickey Stien. She married Hugh R. Guthrie on Jan. 12, 1943, in Eugene. He died April 6, 1997.She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1939 and attended classes at the University of Oregon for two years. In addition to being a homemaker she worked with her husband in his accounting business, Hugh R. Guthrie Public Accounting, for 30 yearsSurvivors include a son, Roger Guthrie of Forest Ranch, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Gayle Aldridge, died Sept. 23, 2001.Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
