Obituary of Jessie Wheeler

Jessie “Isabel” Wheeler of Eugene died March 19 of age-related causes. She was 88. No service is planned.She was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Smith Center, Kan., to Clifford and Mary Nussbaum Joy. She married Robert Young in 1942 in Missouri. He died in the 1970s. She later married Joe Wheeler, who later died.She was a high school graduate. She owned and operated Wheeler Bed and Breakfast in Coburg.Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Fay Wood of Springfield and Barbara Young of Eugene; a sister, Norma Kastle of California; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield.
