Obituary of Cathy Cone

Cathy ConeA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Coburg United Methodist Church in Coburg for Cathy Cone of Eugene, who died March 24 of complications of cancer. She was 63.She was born May 28, 1948, in Oregon City to Robert and Bonita Bonner Beason. She married Richard Cone on March 25, 1972, in Eugene. They later divorced.She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and studied for one year towards her master’s program in speech pathology. She worked as a reading and hearing specialist and substitute teacher and later was owner of Fine Things Antiques & Gifts in Coburg.Survivors include a son, Matthew of Eugene; two daughters, Erin Mower of Eugene and Heather Cone of Kona, Hawaii; and four grandchildren. Two grandchildren, Grace Mower and Carson Mower, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Bridgeway House.
