Norman OakleySPRINGFIELD — Norman L. Oakley of Springfield died March 30 of respiratory failure. He was 79. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.He was born March 17, 1933, in Kevin, Mont., to Leslie and Gertrude Helf Oakley. He married Loreva Vincent on March 15, 1957, in Fairfield, Mont. They later divorced.He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an accountant at Sunriver Electric in Fairfield, Mont., and as office manager of Orcas Power & Light Company in Orcas Island, and retired as chief executive officer for Lane Electric.Survivors include his domestic partner Jerry Blair; a son, Alan of Fairfield, Mont.; a daughter, Lexie Oakley of Great Falls, Mont.; two brothers, Allen of Blair, Wash., and Berry of Fairfield, Mont.; a sister, Verda Krause of Fairfield, Mont.; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
