Obituary of Son Huynh

A requiem Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Eugene for Son Ba Huynh of Eugene, who died March 29 of liver disease related to his service during the Vietnam War. He was 57.He was born July 14, 1954, in Long An, Vietnam, to Tho and Lich Tran Huynh. He married Cam Pham on Nov. 30, 1977, in Saigon, Vietnam.He served with South Vietnamese 101st Airborne from 1972 to 1975. He worked for Jody Coyote for 30 years as a jewelry designer.Survivors include his wife; his mother, Lich Tran of Sidney, Australia; his father, Tho Huynh of Sidney; two sons, Alex and Brian, both of Eugene; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
