Obituary of Arley Swanson

Arley Wade Swanson of Eugene died April 1 of heart attack. He was 86. No service is planned.He was born July 11, 1925, in Chehalis, Wash., to Earl and Zelma Wade Swanson. He married Lola Woolley on Nov. 23, 1956, in Chehalis, Wash.He graduated from Toledo High School in 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 7, 1943 to March 2, 1946. He worked for Western Electric for 35 years.Survivors include his wife; three sons, Daniel and Mark, both of Eugene, and Steve of LaPine; three daughters, Sheri Gilbert, Lynnette Bunch and Margaret Cargill, all of Eugene; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
