Obituary of Robert Brooks

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Robert Allen “Bob” Brooks Sr. of Eugene, who died April 21 of heart failure. He was 74.He was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Lakeview to James and Grace Swan Brooks. He married Linda Dickens on May 1994 in Newport. She died July 22, 2011.He served in the Air Force. He was a city bus driver and retired from Whittier Wood Products.Survivors include two sons, Robert Jr. of Eugene and Michael of Cottage Grove; a daughter, Kim Kruse of Eugene; a stepson, Michael Roberts of Eugene; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens.
