Obituary of James Brown

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for James Owen Brown of Eugene, who died April 23 of cancer. He was 55.He was born Jan. 30, 1957, in Eugene to Charles and Myrtle Axelson Brown. He and his wife, Deborah, were married in August 1978 in Reno, Nev.He completed ninth grade. He worked in the sawmill and RV industries.Survivors include his wife; a son, Travis of Eugene; two daughters, Trixy Place and Tiffany Brown, both of Eugene; three brothers, Kenneth Mills of Arizona, Gerold Mills of Everett, Wash., and Robert Mills of Sydney, Australia; two sisters, Bonnie Martinson of Springfield and Sandy Cupp-Mills of West Linn; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
