Obituary of Patrick Boles

Patrick A. Boles of Eugene died April 29 of a pulmonary thromboembolism. He was 48. A celebration of life service is planned for this summer.He was born Jan. 1, 1964, in Pico Rivera, Calif., to Janice Mae Ross.He held a bachelor’s degree in business. He was A&P certified and was educated in avionics. He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, serving in multiple countries and retiring as a chief. He was the lead helicopter mechanic for Augusta Aviation, was an independent businessman and was involved with Lane County Search and Rescue.Survivors include his wife; a son, Shaun of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Michael of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Victoria Gibon of Dallas; and one grandchild.A private inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., this summer.
