Obituary of Robert Tracy

Robert Tracy Jr.Robert E. Tracy Jr. of Eugene died April 23 of congestive heart failure. He was 88. A private memorial service is planned.He was born July 28, 1923, in Portland to Robert and Irene Reynolds Tracy. He married Ellen Stilwell on Feb. 21, 1948, in Eugene.He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1952 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, in the India Burma Theater. He worked as an office manager.Survivors include his wife; a son, Bradford of Portland; a daughter, Shannon Hanson of Eugene,; a sister, Shirley Jowers of Kirkland, Wash.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
