Marjorie JonesMarjorie “Margie” Jones of Eugene died May 3 of age-related causes. She was 82. No service is planned.She was born April 24, 1930, in Los Angeles to Leonard and Miriam Galpin Herwig. She married Richard Jones on Jan. 21, 1951, in California. They later divorced.She was a high school graduate and attended college. She worked as a secretary and as a waitress.Survivors include two sons, Fred of Vancouver, Wash., and James Sr. of Phoenix, Ariz; a daughter, Cheryl Devault of Eugene; 14 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
