Obituary of Rhonda Ensor
Rhonda Ensor, 58, of Wasilla, AK, died of heart-related issues in Anchorage, AK on May 3, 2012. A Celebration of Life service and internment will be held at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene, OR on May 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Rhonda was born in Eugene, one of five children of Delno R. and Vivian K. Hoehne. She grew up in Eugene, and moved with her family at age 14 to Gold Beach, OR. She graduated from Gold Beach Union High School in 1971 and from Eugene Business College in 1972. Rhonda married Roger Hadden in Gold Beach in 1974 and they lived in Gold Beach and worked at Champion for more than 10 years. When the mill closed, Rhonda and Roger moved to Hillsboro, OR where they divorced. Rhonda married Greg Ensor, in Molalla, OR in 1991. She and Greg met while both were working at NEC, where she worked for many years, last managing their warehouse. Ill health forced Rhonda into an early retirement in 2000 and she then became a full-time homemaker. Rhonda and Greg resided in McMinnville, OR for 14 years before moving to Wasilla, AK in 2006. Rhonda enjoyed watching the birds and moose in their backyard. Rhonda's first love was always her animals, of which she had many beloved cats and dogs over the years, especially Holly, Moosie and Pebbles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delno and Vivian Hoehne. Rhonda is survived by Greg, her beloved husband of 20 years; her two boxers, Mia and Roxie; her brothers; Dwain (Virginia Brady) Hoehne and Rodney Hoehne, of Eugene, OR; her sisters, Denyne (Jerry) Pakulak of Runaway Bay, TX and Jennell Hoehne of Woodburn, OR. She is also survived by four nephews and ten great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rhonda Ensor's name to theAmerican Heart Association
