Obituary of Virginia Colley

BLACHLY — The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home in Eugene for Virginia May Colley of Blachly, who died May 14 of age-related causes. She was 82.She was born Oct. 22, 1929, in North Bend to Charles and Aleta Kirkendall Pullen. She married Jack Colley on Oct. 25, 1947, in Coquille. He died June 23, 1999.She graduated from Coquille High School. She worked as a bookkeeper and homemaker for many years before returning to school at age 60 to become a Realtor for Century 21. She worked in both the Florence and Eugene offices.Survivors include three daughters, Vicki Burnett of Castle Rock, Colo., Susan Fox of Albany and Jacqueline Hamper of Blachly; a sister, June Simmons of Florence; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.Burial will be at 3 p.m., Friday, May 18, at Myrtle Crest Memorial Gardens in Coquille.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
