Betty WilliamsBetty L. Williams of Eugene died May 17 of cancer. She was 82. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.She was born June 27, 1929, in McMinnville to Robert and Sarah Kau Brown. She married Eugene Williams on April 15, 1955, in Eugene. He died in August 1984.She held a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree from the University of Denver. She worked for Oregon Children Services Division and retired as a regional manager.Survivors include three sons, Stephen of Bend, Ronald of Myrtle Creek and Richard Williams of Oakland; a brother, Robert Brown of Portola Valley, Calif.; a sister, Martha Falkenstein of Eugene; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to Soroptimist International of Eugene or the Oregon Genealogical Society.
