Obituary of Donald Keith Farquhar

Donald Farquhar Jr.A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Sweet Cheeks Winery for Donald “Keith” Farquhar Jr. of Eugene, who died May 24 of heart failure. He was 61.He was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Wilmington, Del., to Donald and Dorcas Buck Farquhar.He graduated from Stowe School in Stowe, Vt. He attended Franconia College as well as forestry school at Southwestern Oregon Community College for two years.He was the founder of Easy Creek Lumber and was a custom wood entrepreneur, retailer and distributor.Survivors include his domestic partner, Casie Moylan; a brother, Richard Farquhar of Denver; and two sisters, Dorcas Farquhar of Seattle and Karen Farquhar of Tenants Harbor, Maine.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Lane County.
