Obituary of Debra Baker-Smoot

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, at West Lawn Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Debra Lou Baker-Smoot of Eugene, who died June 4 of cancer. She was 54.She was born Feb. 11, 1958, in Cottage Grove to Loyd and Glenna Blackwell Baker. She married Dayne Smoot on Sept. 1, 2002, in Carson City, Nev.She and her husband owned With Pride Construction. She was a homemaker and also worked for many years as a day care provider and a foster parent.Survivors include her husband; her father; two sons, Charlie Harshbarger and Givante Harshbarger, both of Eugene; three daughters, Jennifer Roberts of Coburg and Katia Harshbarger and Skyla Harshbarger, both of Eugene; three brothers, Ed Baker and Gale Baker, both of Springfield, and Rod Baker of Veneta; and five grandchildren.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
