Eldora BennettJUNCTION CITY — A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. June 16 at the Moose Lodge in Junction City for Eldora “Gillie” Bennett of Junction City, who died May 30 of breast cancer. She was 70.She was born March 22, 1942, in Bell, Calif., to Clyde and Eleanor Abbott Gill.She graduated in 1960 from Lynnwood High School in California. She worked in the lumber industry and was a part-time bartender until she retired in 2000.Survivors include a son, Brian of Junction City; two brothers, Dick Gill of Junction City and Darrell Gill of Wilsonville; two sisters, Karen Lemieux of Junction City and Clydene Hoffman of Mesa, Ariz.; and one grandchild.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel in Eugene.
