Myrtle RobertsSPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Walterville Presbyterian Church in Walterville for Myrtle Roberts of Springfield, who died May 25 of age-related causes. She was 94.She was born Aug. 30, 1917, in Arco, Idaho, to Calvin and Myrtle Simmerman Newport. She married Edgar Roberts in 1935. He died Nov. 4, 1994.She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Leslie of Eugene; a daughter, Margie Roberts Hall of Glendora; and five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A son, George, died in May 1951.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances may be sent to Cascade Health Foundation in Eugene.
