Obituary of Evelyn Hamburg

ROSEBURG — A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. June 25 at the Garden Valley Retirement Center in Roseburg for Evelyn C. Hamburg of Roseburg, formerly of Eugene, who died May 29 of age-related causes. She was 90.She was born March 17, 1922, in Ada, Minn., to Johnny and Clara Lindenberg Rasmusson. She married Harold Hamburg in 1962. He died in 1991.She owned and operated two restaurants in Eugene, the Uptown Lunch Cafe on Olive Street and Woody’s Round the Clock Restaurant.Survivors include a daughter, Pam Baker of Roseburg; two stepsons, John Hamburg of Springfield and Fred Hamburg of Eugene; six stepgrandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.Private inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.
