Obituary of Louis Magana

Louis MaganaThe funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 28 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Junta, Colo., for Louis Magana of Eugene, who died June 16 of complications of pneumonia. He was 73.He was born Jan. 30, 1939, in La Junta to Louis and LaLa Mata Magana. He married Dorothy Martinez on May 8, 1959, in La Junta. They later divorced.He graduated from La Junta High School in 1958. He was the manager of Karl Shoe Stores in Woodland and Roseville, Calif., for seven years, from 1963 to 1970. He worked for Mobil Chemical Co. in their plastic division as a machinist from 1970 to 1995. He retired after 25 years.Survivors include four children; three sisters; and six grandchildren.Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. June 28 in Fairview Cemetery in La Junta. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
