Obituary of Evelyn Harley

Evelyn HarleyA graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Wash., for Evelyn J. Harley of Eugene, who died July 13 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was 76.She was born March 5, 1936, in Vancouver to Laurance and Isabel Hood Stein. She married William Harley on June 6, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colo. They later divorced.She held a bachelor of arts degree from Denver University. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Colorado, Kansas, Texas and Nevada.Survivors include a son, Jeffrey of Eugene; a daughter, Christine Curtis of Springfield; a sister, Nancy Biggs of Vancouver, Wash.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
