Obituary of Anne Alden

Anne AldenAnne Alden of Eugene died July 23 of age-related causes. She was 85. No service is planned.She was born Sept. 30, 1926, in New York to Adolph Anton and Charlotte Schneider Messinger. She married Harry John Alden in New York on May 17, 1947. He died Jan. 7, 2008.She attended Hunter College and Adelphi University in New York. She worked in supply and distribution for Texaco at the corporate headquarters in New York.Survivors include a son, Lee Alden of Eugene, Oregon; two daughters, Jamie Alden and Jan Alden, both of Eugene; and a brother, Wilbur Messinger of San Jose, Calif.
