Obituary of Cecilia Hanson

Cecilia Frances Hanson of Eugene, died July 26 of age related causes. She was 101. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Mark Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at at the church.She was born Dec. 11, 1910, in Bowman, N.D., to Peter and Martha Komischka Domagala. She married Elmer T. Hanson on Jan. 31, 1942 in Eugene.She worked in farming, hotel service, at the Eugene Cannery and was a seamstress and a homemaker.Survivors include three sons, Leland of Alvadore, James of Eugene and Wayne of Veneta; a daughter, Eileen Bjarnson of North Bend; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, in West Lawn Memorial Park .Arrangements by Musgrove Mortuary and West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
