Obituary of Verna Lamm

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 4 at Jasper Christian Church for Verna Lamm of Eugene, who died July 15 of age-related causes. She was 92.She was born Oct. 16, 1919, in Saskatchewan to Gustof and Theresa Nordlund Johnson. She married Willis Lamm on Aug. 8, 1938, in Camas Valley. He died in 1988.She graduated from high school in Camas Valley in 1938. She worked as a retail sales clerk in clothing, pharmacy and cosmetics.Survivors include a son, Gary of Springfield; a daughter, Gail Johnson of Eugene; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Private burial was held at Rest Lawn Cemetery in JunctionCity.
