Obituary of Kevin Early

Kevin EarlyKevin F. Early of Eugene died Aug. 2 of age-related causes. He was 82. A rosary will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at St. Paul Catholic Church. A memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.He was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Butte, Mont., to Francis and Kathleen Maguire Early. He married Emma Robertson on June 5, 1954, in Boise.He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland and his master’s degree in education from the University of Oregon. He was a teacher and coach in Idaho and Montana and an educator and counselor for the Eugene School District.Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin of Wilsonville, two daughters, Theresa Huiard and Linda Pliska, both of Portland; and six grandchildren.Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Casey Eye Institute at OHSU.
