Obituary of LaVerne Greco

The funeral will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 17, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland for LaVerne Esther Greco of Salem, formerly of Junction City, who died July 29 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born July 5, 1926, in Seattle to Frank and Lavinia Shevere McNussen. She married Frank Greco on Aug. 1, 1946. He died previously.She held a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash. She worked as a real estate broker and agent.Survivors include three sons, Frank of Oregon, David of Arizona and Mark of Washington; two daughters, Maria Smith of Washington and Carrin Blomgren of Arizona; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
