Obituary of Paul Larkey

Paul E. Larkey of Eugene, died Aug. 18 of a heart attack. He was 92. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.He was born June 1, 1920, in Belfry, Montanaa, to Rolla and Tabitha Gunn Larkey. He married Delores Brown on May 23, 1948 in Klamath Falls.He graduated from Henley High School in Henley, Ore. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and in Korea. He was a potato and grain farmer in Klamath Falls and a truck driver for Reed’s Trucking.Survivors include his wife; a son, David Larkey of Eugene; and a sister, Virginia Patchett of Lake Oswego. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lee Larkey.Private entombment will be held at Springfield.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield.
