Obituary of Elna Elizabeth Gregory

JUNCTION CITY — Elna Elizabeth Gregory of Junction City died Aug. 19 of age-related causes. She was 88. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Murphy Musgrove Funeral Home.She was born Nov. 16, 1923, in Junction City to Andrew and Magda Madsen Jakobsen. She married John Earl Gregory on Oct. 16, 1942, in Junction City. He died March 7, 2011.She graduated from Junction City High School in 1941. She was a bookkeeper at Ditto’s Variety Store in Junction City for 15 years and then she was a teller at U.S. Bank in Junction City and Eugene until her retirement.Survivors include a sister, Tove Hall of Eugene.Burial will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 27, in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
