Obituary of Karlie Hobson

Karlie HobsonA celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Sweet Cheeks Winery in Eugene for Karlie Geiser Hobson of Eugene, who died Aug. 18 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 32.She was born Feb. 20, 1980, in St. Cloud, Minn., to John and Jeanne Deemer Geiser. She married Jeremy Hobson on Aug. 17, 2007, in Eugene.She held a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in wilderness & civilization studies from the University of Montana.She held a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Oregon. She worked as a speech pathologist and director of speech with Eugene Hearing & Speech Center.Survivors include her husband; her parents; and a sister, Kelly Woods of Albertville, Minn.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
