Shirley SwezeyShirley M. Swezey of Eugene died Aug. 29 of age-related causes. She was 90.She was born June 27, 1922, in Rockford, Iowa, to Earl and Winifred Carver Peters. She married John A. Swezey on Aug. 8, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas.She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. She worked as a bookkeeper.Survivors include her husband; a son, David of Sandy; and two grandchildren. A daughter, Barbara Ann Allen, died in 1986.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
