Obituary of June Briggs McBride

A graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene for June Mary Rhodes Tripp Briggs McBride of Eugene, who died Sept. 23 of a brain stem stroke. She was 94. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.She was born June 17, 1918, in Aitkin, Minn., to Walter and Lillian Ivey Rhodes. She married Jim McBride on March 20, 1990. He died in 2002.She competed the eighth grade. She was a homemaker and she cleaned houses professionally.Survivors include a son, Victor Briggs of Springfield.Two daughters, Mryna Gale and Carolyn June Tripp, died previously.Her first husband, Harold Tripp, died in 1945, and her second husband, Everette Briggs, died in 1986.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
