Adela BarnesThe funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Adela Barnes of Eugene, who died Sept. 27 of age-related causes. She was 91. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Chinadega, Nicaragua, to Pedro and Concepcion Lopez Ruiz. She married Mark Barnes on Dec. 30, 1959, in San Francisco.She graduated from high school and attended beauty college. She worked at the Eugene Laundry for 30 years.Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Ofelia Ruiz and Mayo Ruiz, both of Los Angeles.Entombment will be held at Rest Haven Mausoleum. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Heart Association.
