Deborah CollinsA celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Eugene Faith Center for Deborah Ann Collins of Eugene, who died Sept. 20 of complications from congestive heart failure. She was 56.She was born April 8, 1956, in Springfield to Larry and Anna May Box Davis. She married Daniel Collins on Dec. 19, 1983, in Eugene.She graduated from Thurston High School in 1974. She held an associates degree in medical office assistance from Lane Community College. She was a certified medical assistant and served in a MASH unit for the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. She owned Sunflower Daycare in Eugene for 17 years.Survivors include her husband; her mother, Anna May Box of Eugene; a daughter, Jennifer Holcrow of Eugene; three brothers, David Box of St. Helens, Neil Davis of Connecticut and Tony Davis of Portland; and two sisters, Linda Harper and Kelly Box, both of Eugene.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Eugene Faith Center, Wanda Fisher’s bible study or Red Cross of Lane County.
