Obituary of Lorraine Wolf

Lorraine Wolf 9/25/1923 - 9/30/2012 She was born in Minot, North Dakota to Clarence C. and R. Minnie Cross. Lorraine graduated from Minot High School in 1941. The family moved from Minot to Eugene, OR in the summer of 1941. She attended the U of O and then worked as a dental assistant. She met her future husband Charles Wolf at the U.S.O. while he was serving his country in WWII. They married March 2, 1946. They had two sons, Curtis R. and Keith S. Wolf. Lorraine volunteered at Skipworth Juvenile Home weekly for 35 years. She was very active in Central Presbyterian Church from 1941 to present, serving on numerous committees. She was also active in the Post Office Ladies Auxiliary. Lorraine was known for her beautiful back yard and her cards, books marks and mobiles made from pressed flowers, which many of her family and friends still cherish. Leisure times were spent hiking, camping, and fishing throughout the United States. Lorraine is survived by her sons: Curt Wolf and wife Sue of Sunriver, Oregon, and Keith Wolf and wife Marla Rabau of Tigard, Oregon, 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Jeanne Hansen, Green Valley Arizona; Dori Young, Woodburn, Oregon; Marlene Bucklin, Olympia, Washington; Myrna Milligan, Sequim, Washington; Kay Wilson, Eugene, Oregon; a brother: Al Cross, Salem, Oregon; 17 nieces, and nephews, and numerous cousins. A memorial service, will be held at 11:30, Friday, October 5, 2012, at Central Presbyterian Church, 555 East 15th, Eugene, OR. 97401.
