Obituary of Harold Squire

Harold Squire Jr.SPRINGFIELD — Harold Arthur Squire Jr. of Springfield died Oct. 3 of complications of surgery. He was 78. A private wake is planned.He was born Feb. 14, 1934, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Harold and Adeline Merkle Squire. He married Elaine Hansen in 1951 in California. They later divorced. He married Dora Wells in 1959 in California. They later divorced. He married Erla Faye Kirk in 1988 in Springfield. They later divorced.He earned both a general education diploma and a recreational vehicle technician certificate from Lane Community College. He worked as a chip truck driver and owner of a recycling business.Survivors include three sons, Andy Squire of Springfield, Jeff Dugger of Vancouver, Wash., and Kevin Squire of Coburg; two daughters, Barbara Lane of Kansas and Theresa Aimes of Junction City; and 11 grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel in Eugene.
