Obituary of Ronald Neckels

Ronald NeckelsA graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene for Ronald K. “Ronnie” Neckels of Eugene, who died Oct. 5 of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He was 61.He was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Stockton, Calif., to Kenneth and Luella Neckels. He married Kathleen Jackson on Oct. 28, 1972, in Foresthill, Calif.He held an associates degree in accounting. He worked for more than 40 years in the timber industry.Survivors include his wife; his mother, now of Auburn, Calif.; three sons, Joshua of Cottage Grove, Nathan of Springfield and Patrick of Portland; two daughters, Karen Lessar of Springfield and Liz Lesch of Oregon City; two brothers, Arlen of San Andreas, Calif., and Terry of Foresthill, Calif.; a sister, Carol Bowman of Polson, Mont.; and eight grandchildren.Inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Boy Scouts Of America, Troop 100.
