Obituary of Lynette Jackson

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Lynette Rae Jackson of Springfield, who died Oct. 9 of cancer. She was 53. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home.She was born July 18, 1959, in Eureka, Calif., to Raymond and Vonda Pittman Jackson.She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1977. She attended Springfield College.She worked as a firefighter at Warm Springs, worked as a waitress at Cinco De Mayo Restaurant in LaPine. She worked as a nail technician and opened her own shop in Walterville.Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Vonda and Delmar Zysett of Springfield.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield.
