Obituary of Ronald Hartung

SPRINGFIELD — A memorial music jam and potluck will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 13, at Very Little Theater in Eugene for Ronald “Ron Hart” Hartung of Springfield, who died Oct. 6 of cancer. He was 65.He was born Oct. 16, 1946, in South Bend, Ind., to Richard and Iris Kensinger Hartung.He graduated from California Poletechnic in Pomona, Calif. He owned the Hart Group, an engineering firm.Survivors include three daughters, Emily Hartung and Sara Butrick-Powell, both of Springfield, and Anna Butrick of San Francisco; a sister, Susie Ferra of Tempe, Ariz.; and one grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
