Obituary of John Bostick

JUNCTION CITY — John H. “Jack” Bostick of Junction City died Oct. 10 of age-related causes. He was 96.He was born Feb. 3, 1916, in Woodlake, Calif., to Henry and Nora Richey Bostick. He married Maxie Dodd on May 19, 1934, in Merced, Calif. She died March 19, 1991.He completed the 11th grade. He worked as a journeyman carpenter, dump truck owner and operator; he owned a construction company with his sons.Survivors include two sons, John Jr. of Orofino, Idaho, and Kenneth of Eugene; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
