Obituary of Judith Spence

Judith Marie “Judy” Spence of Eugene died Oct. 10 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 71. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Boscoville, Wis., to William and Harriett Nygaard Zimpel. She married Robert Spence on Nov. 10, 1960, in Compton, Calif.She was self-employed.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debbie Norman of Springfield; a sister, Chris Fetters of Salem; and two grandchildren. A son, David Spence, died previously.Burial will be held at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
