Obituary of Frank Baker
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City for Frank Lewis Baker of Eugene, who died Oct. 12 of age-related causes. He was 83.He was born March 23, 1929, in Goshen to William and Violet Harrell Baker.He attended Elmira Elementary School and later graduated from Elmira High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He was a millworker for Swanson’s Plywood and, after retiring from Swanson’s, he drove truck for S&C Cattle Company.Survivors include a sister, Florence Padden of Eugene; and three step-grandchildren. His wife, Irene Baker, and an infant daughter, Joanne, died previously.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
