Obituary of Frank Rich

PLEASANT HILL — A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Bella Casa Mobile Home Park in Pleasant Hill for Frank Rich of Pleasant Hill, who died Oct. 19 of heart failure. He was 64.He was born May 6, 1948, in Charlestown, Iowa, to Edward and Dorothy Schwartz Rich. He married Rebecca Evans on Aug. 1, 1970, in Fresno, Calif.He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, Calif. He served aboard the U.S.S. Turner Joy during Vietnam. He worked as an auto mechanic and retired in 2010.Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Corene Rich of Pleasant Hill; a brother, Roger of Aubrey, Texas; and a sister, Lynda Rich of Pleasant Hill.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield
