Obituary of Tommy Holmes

Tommy Ray Holmes of LaCenter, Wash., formerly of Elmira, died Oct. 9 of age-related causes. He was 83. A Mass and luncheon is scheduled for Oct. 28, 2012 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St Catherine Catholic Church in Veneta.He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Longmont, Colo., to Earl and Anna Jones Holmes. He married Lorene Boedigheimer on June 17, 1949.He was a barber in Eugene’s River Road area.Survivors include a son, David of LaCenter, Wash.; a sister, Vanna Lyons of Lebanon; and two grandchildren.Private inurnment will be held at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
