Obituary of Lois Schaefer McNutt

Lois McNutt SchaeferA celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 28 at Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland for Lois McNutt Schaefer of Portland, formerly of Lane County, who died Oct. 13 of leukemia. She was 81.She was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Portland to Ralph and Sarah Skidmore Taylor.She married John McNutt on June 9, 1951, in Eugene. They later divorced.She married John Schaefer on May 28, 1983, in Lake Oswego. He died in August 1996.She graduated from Eugene High School in 1949 and attended the University of Oregon. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, J. Brad McNutt of Blue River; three daughters, Linda Grubb and Diana Stanton, both of Portland, and Sherry Gennaro of Camas, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.Private burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
