Obituary of David Wheeler

David Wayne Wheeler, our beloved son, brother, and uncle. He was born Dec. 6, 1951 in Eugene, OR to Wayne and Donna (Smith) Wheeler. David graduated from North Eugene High School, Class of 1970. He took classes at Lane Community College. David owned his own business, Wheeler Janitorial in Eugene, OR. David was the most generous, eager to please, loving person possible. If we had all the cards for every occasion he has given us, we could paper the walls with them. He played the trumpet and loved music. In the past, many people in South Eugene knew him from seeing him walk his dog, Beau, faithfully every day. David suffered a long hard illness his year, but never lost his sweetness. He passed away Wednesday morning, October 24th at RiverBend Hospital. David is survived by his parents, Wayne and Donna Wheeler; brother Dan Wheeler; and sister, Nancy Schroeder. He will be missed! His funeral service will be at Riviera Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., Saturday Nov. 3, 3071 River Road, with viewing from 1-2pm. He will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to ShelterCare for Hawthorne Apts. in Eugene. Musgrove Family Mortuary has been entrusted with his arrangements.
